Weekly for Wilkerson
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Stephen Wilkerson led the Sabercats to two wins last weekend, and the National Christian College Athletic Association has tabbed him with the Student-Athlete of the Week award.
Wilkerson averaged over 20 points and 10 rebounds per game last weekend, leading Maranatha to wins over Calvary University and Faith Baptist Bible College at the Faith Christmas Classic. Wilkerson shot 50 percent from the floor and went 11-16 from the free-throw line as the Sabercats topped Calvary 101-92 and Faith 81-54.
Wilkerson leads the Sabercats with 21.8 points per game and 10.8 rebounds this season. The team's next game is scheduled for January 14 at home against MSOE.
