A Forward Look
WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Maranatha Athletic Department has released the 2020 Men's Soccer schedule, as a balanced squad of new and returning student-athletes will look to return to the NCCAA DII National Tournament.
Last year, the team returned to the NCCAA DII National Tournament for the first time in five years, only to be knocked out of pool play by the #1-seeded Randall University Saints and the eventual national champions, Pensacola Christian. Despite the losses, the nationals appearance was a hard-earned milestone for the team, who represented the strongest region at the NCCAA DII level since 2010.
This year, the team returns some key starters, but will will have to fill some gaping holes in the lineup, as the team had an unusual 14 graduates last season.
