Causin' Trouble
OVERLAND PARK, Kans. -- Alex Causey was all business at the plate last week, and the Association of Division III Independents has taken notice.
The freshman out of Huntsville, Alabama led the Sabercats in a six-game week, batting .300 with a .667 slugging percentage. Causey recorded four doubles and a triple, notching two RBI in the six-game stretch.
As an exclamation point, the shortstop went 4-for-9 with two RBI and two runs in a doubleheader split with Lincoln Christian to end the week, leading the Sabercats to their second win of the season.
Causey and the Sabercats return to action this afternoon with a 3:00 p.m. doubleheader with Wisconsin Lutheran at Washington Park.
