Hansel Garners AD3I Weekly Award
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Claire Hansel was a force to be reckoned with last week, and the Association of Division III Independents has named her as the Student-Athlete of the Week for her performances in a four-match stretch.
Hansel kept the Sabercats Women's Volleyball Team competitive last week, as MBU went to five sets against Beloit, Wisconsin Lutheran, Anderson, and North Central (Ill.). The sophomore has been stepping up her game this season, as she logged 46 kills in the four-match stretch, including a career-high 16 against North Central to conclude the week.
So far this season, Hansel leads the team with 155 kills and has amassed 177 digs, 15 blocks, and 17 aces.
