NCCAA Rankings: Soccer Programs Make the Top 10

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The National Christian College Athletic Association has released their first Top 10 Rankings, and both the Men's and Women's soccer teams rank inside the top 10.

FULL RANKINGS

Sabercats Women's Soccer has earned a #2 ranking in the NCCAA DII, sitting just three points back of Johnson University Tennessee and three points ahead of Bob Jones University, who took the Division II title last year. So far this season, the Sabercats are 2-2-0, which includes a 6-1 win over North Central University (Minn.).

On the men's side, MBU sits at #10 behind NCCAA North Region opponents, Providence (Canada) and North Central (Minn.). After close losses to open the season, the men's team is seeking its first win on the year. Three teams from the South Region comprise the top three spots in the rankings on the men's side.

Both teams from MBU finished runners-up to Providence University College at last year's regional tournaments. The Sabercats will be hosting the regional tournaments this year, so a potential rematch is eagerly anticipated.
