Pool B

The Sabercats will face two old foes and one new face in pool play at the National Tournament.

#3 Geneva -- The Golden Tornadoes are new to the NCCAA this year and earned the #3 seed for the tournament despite not participating in the Mideast Regional Tournament. The only opponent that GC has shared with Maranatha this year is Alverno College, and the Tornadoes swept Alverno at the beginning of the season.

#6 Toccoa Falls -- Toccoa Falls and Maranatha squared off at last year's tournament, and the Screaming Eagles were the only team to take a set off of Maranatha in pool play. Maranatha leads the all-time series, 4-0.

#7 Arlington Baptist -- The last time the Patriots played Maranatha was in the 2015 NCCAA DII National Semifinals, where the Sabercats put up an impressive 50 kills in a three-set win. While the Patriots hold the weakest record in the field this year, they are one of four regional champions competing for the national title.
