In Memory of Terry Price
WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Terry Price - longtime Maranatha football coach and athletic director - went home to be with the Lord this morning after suffering a stroke.
Terry was surrounded by family at the time of his home-going.
Coach Price had a profound impact on the students at Maranatha, as he filled the role of Athletic Director while coaching the Football Team from 1985-2010.
The memories under Coach Price are significant, with his final game as Maranatha football coach coming with a 14-6 win at Rockford, marking a fitting end to a career of high impact - both on the field and off.
While best remembered as a football coach and a "life coach", Terry Price taught numerous classes at Maranatha, filling the roles of staff and faculty.
"We are saddened to hear of the passing of long-time football coach and Athletic Director, Dr. Terry Price, but we rejoice with his wife and family that he has been promoted to heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ," said MBU Athletic Director, Rob Thompson. "Coach Price was a wonderful Sunday School teacher, Pastor, professor, mentor and true friend for nearly 40 years. We will miss him, but know the reunion in heaven will be sweet someday."
