The Best in the North
WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Twelve Sabercats have earned the honor of being the best in the NCCAA North Region for the 2019 season.
The awards were determined by a vote of the regional coaches and were announced at the various regional banquets, which took place last night and this morning.
Outstanding awards went to McKenzie Janke (Women's Volleyball - North Region Libero of the Year) and Kelsey Johnson (Women's Volleyball - North Region Player of the Year).
Janke's award represents the fourth consecutive year that a libero from MBU has earned the title, and it is Janke's second consecutive Libero of the Year honor. This is Johnson's first time being named as the NCCAA North Region MVP.
