All-Decade MVP: Audrey (Risma) Knoedler
Knoedler was the only Maranatha student-athlete in the decade to earn the honor of NCCAA DII National Player of the Year. The three-time All-American earned NCCAA DII North Region Player of the Year honors three years running and finished her career with 13 goals and 12 assists from a midfield position.
Her impact and leadership were noticeable, as she earned the NCCAA Game Plan 4 LIFE Character Award for DII Women's Soccer in 2016, capping off a memorable four-year career. Knoedler is the only three-time regional player of the year in the decade and the only three-time 1st-Team NCCAA DII All-American selection.

Knoedler was a team captain and was influential in shaping the team's core belief document prior to the start of the 2016 season. She said that being on the team was like "having a second family", and her takeaways from playing soccer at Maranatha apply to her life after college.
"Being a student-athlete taught me that any hard situation is an opportunity to improve," Knoedler said. "Don't rely solely on others and the environment to motivate you. Be self-motivated to improve."
